A late wine and cocktail bar in Charminster with music on two floors, open Thursday to Saturday.

O2 Academy
The big live venue in Boscombe. The building was the Opera House, home of Slinky, from 1997 and reopened as O2 Academy Bournemouth in 2009. It's mostly ticketed gigs now, with occasional club events.

Sonny's Speakeasy
A prohibition-style cocktail bar on Old Christchurch Road with live music at weekends.
Sound Circus
Bournemouth's alternative and rock club, with its own club nights Thursday to Saturday and live bands.

The Old Fire Station
Bournemouth University Students' Union's club and live music venue since 1995. Most club nights and all gigs are open to the public; some nights are students only.

The Vault
A club in a converted bank on Poole Hill, hosting touring event brands and DJs. It has a bookable VIP area and three function rooms for private hire.
